Telangana Health Expo and Conference

Hyderabad is emerging as a medical tourism destination due to internationally accredited medical facilities, highly qualified physicians, state-of-the-art infrastructure, air connectivity and cost effective treatment as well as affordable accommodation and support from the Telangana Government which is keen on placing Hyderabad on the medical tourism map.

The Telangana Health Expo & Conference will provide a forum for attendees from the industry, foreign embassies, government and other organizations to exchange, share and understand the trends, challenges and opportunities in medical tourism in Hyderabad. The aim of the expo and conference is to facilitate the stake holders to showcase their offerings and also stimulate a dialogue, examine medical health issues and develop new ideas.

Indian Medical Tourism is growing at a fast pace. 3-4 percent of the world population travel internationally for medical treatment, generating over USD 100 billion and patients from USA, Canada, African, South East Asian and Middle Eastern countries come to India. The medical tourism market which was valued at USD 6 billion in 2020 fiscal year is expected to more than double and reach USD 13 billion by 2026.
